Bergeron Emergency Services, Inc is a subsidiary to and wholly owned by Bergeron Land Development. We have assisted various Communities, Federal, State and Local Governments with Disaster Relief Efforts since 1992. Our Managerial and Supervisory staff are OSHA and MOT Certified. Bergeron Emergency Services has the experienced Managers, Supervisors and Operators together with the specialized equipment it takes to rapidly respond to any Emergency situation.
Upon immediate request during the active 2005 season, BES opened and managed five of the largest Temporary Debris Staging and Reduction Sites (TDSRS) in the State's history and successfully conducted site management operations in excess of two million cubic yards, BES closed the sites in compliance with all applicable state, local & federal agency requirements and specifications. Debris reduction operations included incineration via "burning" and "grinding" of vegetative debris, segregation and final disposal of construction and demolition material, white goods and hazardous waste. Other operations included emergency push, Right of Way (ROW) pick-up and haul, private property Right of Entry (ROE) work, sand screening and hazardous materials abatement.
Bergeron is a fifth generation family operation that owns and maintains a fleet of specialized equipment for all types of disaster recovery services, thus cutting out the middle man and building a relationship directly with its clients. As prime contractor for ice storm operations in 2009 in the State of Kentucky, BES is the only contractor in the Commonwealth’s 12 districts who received an outstanding work performance grade from District headquarters in Frankfort, Kentucky in the six counties awarded to BES.
