The emergency response and disaster recovery specialists at Bergeron Emergency Services attended the 2025 Florida Governor’s Hurricane Conference (FGHC) May 11th-16th at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.
Billed as the nation’s largest and best-attended conference focusing on hurricane planning, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation, the FGHC is an opportunity to learn from the successes of others and identify proven best practices.
The Bergeron Emergency Services booth was three times the standard booth size, sitting on the corner at booth spaces 909-911 and featured impressive images of previous projects from the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the South Florida disaster debris management site from the 2005 Atlantic Hurricanes to the restoring Hollywood Beach in 2017 following Hurricane Irma to last year’s response to Hurricane Helene in SW Virginia.
“We have 32 years of experience in saving and restoring communities. That much experience can’t be contained to one booth,” said founder and CEO J.R. Bergeron with a wink and a grin. “But seriously, we are proud of the experience we have gained over three decades. Our proven know-how combined with our specialized equipment enables us to respond quickly to almost any ordeal. Regardless of the situation, our #1 priority is always to life, health, and safety of our clients’ citizens.”
