In order to reduce tidal flooding on the highly traveled South Miami Beach thoroughfare, Bergeron Land Development installed three pump stations and a new drainage system to improve storm water drainage in area. Additionally, the roadway construction project involved two bridge modifications, 1.3 miles of complete roadway reconstruction, 220 drainage structures and more than 13,000 feet of pipe.
In March 2016, the Cuban-American Association of Civil Engineers awarded Bergeron Land Development with the Project of the Year (Cat. III) for enhancing the image of the profession while advancing the quality of life in our community. Read more about the award.
