The Dania Beach City Commissioners opened their November 17th meeting by presenting Bergeron Emergency Services with an Exemplary Service Award in recognition of the disaster recovery firm’s hard work and dedication to removing debris in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
Following Hurricane Irma’s September 11th landfall as a Category 5 Hurricane, Bergeron Emergency Services was prepared and ready to respond quickly and efficiently to restore normalcy as quickly as possible. In response to the most intense hurricane to strike the continental United States since Katrina in 2005, Bergeron deployed 300 trucks and 750 workers from Monroe County to Volusia County to collect more than 1 million cubic yards from curbsides across the state.
