When the costliest road and bridge construction project in Florida’s history to date was completed, Bergeron Land Development had revamped 13 miles of Interstate 595, the east-west expressway that connects Central Broward County to Interstate 75. The project included the construction of three reversible toll lanes, three braided ramp systems, roadway construction, drainage, canal dredging and concrete wall assembly through seven major traffic phases.
