The largest interchange construction project awarded in Florida at the time consisted of a major four-level, fully directional interchange that resulted in nine steel box girder bridges totaling 12,352 linear feet and Florida’s first one-cell steel box girder bridge. In addition, Bergeron Land Development relocated two miles of CSX Railroad and reconstructed a three mile section of I-95, including a three level interchange at SR 84 and two new frontage road systems. Our achievement was rewarded with the maximum bonus allowed by the contract.
