At 550 acres, this was the largest interchange in Florida at the time. Bergeron Land Development constructed 14 major segmental box girder structures, an 18-span slip ramp bridge over water, one span bridge connector with MSE (mechanically stablilized earth) wall construction and the milling and resurfacing of I-75 from Sheridan Street to the I-595/Sawgrass Interchange. In addition, Bergeron Land Development was responsible for project’s roadway construction, drainage, lighting, guardrails, signage and landscaping.
